My research interest largely emerged from my personal experience which includes ICT adoption in public sector, eGovernment and ICT in developing countries. My PhD research aims to gain an in-depth understanding of impediments and the associated issues related to ICT adoption in public sectors within a LDC environment; the ultimate goal of which is to create a conceptual model that can best explain the ICT adoption strategy in LDCs. Bangladesh is taken as the case study for my research. I hope this will contribute to some extent in policy implication for designing and implementing an appropriate package of ICT services in the Public sector of LDCs, in addition to the academic knowledge.
